Egypt at last!

We're here in Egypt safe and sound!

We were able to sleep pretty well on the plane. there were a few rough patches of turbulance, 2 screaming babies, and a slight axiety attach when I was all cramped up and hot so I took a walk around the plane to loosen up.

We're staying in Giza which is just across the Nile from Cairo. (kinda like Provo/Orem.) We had a few hours after check-in to get settled so I ran out to take a nap next to the pool.

Cairo really is such a dirty place. Trash everywhere and 22 million people is what I'm told. We've had our first "adventure" in Cairo. We asked for directions to a restaurant and were walked into a shop. After the lazy-eyed store owner bought us all drinks and called Aaron brother about 12 times, Aaron felt like we should buy some of his perfume(for the record, I know better). So know I have a nice bottle of Egyptian perfume! When we finally made it to dinner Aaron felt so ripped off that he claimed to have lost his appetite and kept getting after himself for being so stupid. I assured him that I'd forgot to pack perfume so it really wasn't that big of a deal.

We have over a full week in Egypt. I hope we have enough to do to fill all our time. We are going to the Pyramids in the morning, and the national museum at some point. In a few days we have a trip to Luxor scheduled. Aaron and I are planning a horse back riding trip around the pyramids on our first free day.

Not too much to report yet. I just wanted everyone know we arrived and are still alive!
